Keeping one person alive in the wilderness is a cakewalk compared to trying to keep a city running in a never ending winter, which is the cold hard reality this game takes place in. Set in the nineteenth century in the midst of a cataclysmic ice age, nothing remains but arctic wastelands and a small group of survivors gathered around a steam generator for heat. You sit on high as the ruler of this hellish landscape and your one role is to try and keep your people safe, happy and ultimately hopeful. This is not an easy task when constantly gathering resources just to survive the day is a necessity, not to mention occasionally having to work a twenty-four hour day just to have enough coal to last the night."

The original Frostpunk is getting a remaster in Unreal Engine 5 alongside new content for returning fans.

The annual Steam Summer Sale has now kicked off. There’s a lot of games on sale here, and deciding which games you’re going to pick is not always easy, especially considering a lot of the discounts are pretty average.
Thanks for the article. I’ll try song of syx.
Also anything Falcom that is on sale usually never fails. Such a good publisher if you’re into RPGs. Xanadu Next is a great recommendation.

BLG writes: "City building games give you the opportunity to live out your dream of becoming an urban planner. City builders combine strategy, management, and simulation elements to create a unique, and oftentimes complex, subgenre that’s been quickly gaining popularity in recent years. Since it’s finally Summer and many people have more free time on their hands, we figured now would be the perfect opportunity to discuss some of these titles."
Communism simulator lmao. Spoiler: there are no good endings.
I didn’t know frost punk was a city building game, I thought it was RTS for some reason. I’m going to look into that when these evolution 2 challenges are done pissing me off.
I love Tropico even though I'm really bad at it. 4 is the best one IMO.
