There's plenty of cheap b'stards out there who'd rather not pay the rightful owners for their years of toil and imagination nevermind their family absence, than give a respectable price.

But it does mean more 360s sold, if even to get modded. Then someday they might fancy another one for live, and start paying live. In which case they're still contributing to the system, which is slightly better.

the good thing with the xbox 360, even all its games are leaked or pirated, is that sells more software than other system in the market.

Halo 3 was leaked a week before it release and still outsold every exclusive in any system, breaked all the records and share with GTAIV (leaked 10 days before released) the spot of the most selling games in this gen.

i suspect a torrent leak is imminent.

Call you local flea market if you want games early. Most if not all I have seen don't honor street dates.

Unfortunatly, although MS can see who is playing the game early, right at the moment before the game is officialy released, they can't actually ban them, and this is the stores fault.

MS can't tell which game is an original disc and a copied disc due to the updated firmware that the pirates are using. If stores continue to leak the games early, how can MS ban everyone, when certain people actually legally bought a copy from a store early.

When a game is sold in a store early, it's the store that is at risk, not the consumer, so MS have not right to ban anyone unless they go knocking at there door, and ask to see the copy..and unfortunatly unless speed of light travel is invented for free, is not going to happen due to costs.

It's a win, lose, lose situation. Win for the pirates, lose for the developers, and unfortunatly a bug fat lose for the gamers who have to end up paying more due to the scummy people who pirate the game.

so i'll be picking mine up then.

i can't wait, but i'm currently enjoying Little Big Planet. it's going to be hard to put it down to play Fable, but and my fiance can't wait to play together.

so many games with their street date broken, i might consider getting a 360 for christmas.

Remember when Xbox was exciting.
Mass effect, Crackdown, bioshock, gta iv DLC, halo and gears when it was fresh.

Not all first party but some beach hitters as exclusives. I remember it was the only gen I didn't buy a Sony console first since the PS1 since I both couldn't afford it and the games looked and ran worse because devs didn't have a trip on the cell.

PS3 eventually became my preferred console that gen with infamous being my favourite game of the gen and the 360 making it clear core gamers were no longer a priority while don matrick tried to appease the Wii crowd to come play on Xbox instead of the Wii and eventually smartphones.

But man that first 3 to 4 years or so was magical for the 360.
