Get Experienced: The New Xbox 360 Dashboard

Jordan Bowman writes:

"On November 19, the great Wii-ification of the Xbox 360 will take place when Microsoft releases the "New Xbox Experience." More than just a graphical update for the 360's dashboard, the NXE is meant to simplify the selection process for people not accustomed to leafing through potentially confusing menus. But it doesn't stop there, boys and girls! This update brings all sorts of new bells and whistles to your Xbox, potentially lengthening the system's lifespan by years-and multiplying Microsoft's profit even more. Everyone's happy, right? If not, here's why you should be…"

speaking of nutsacks what a stupid opening line. the wii-ification? the last time i checked I cant chainsaw bodies in half on the wii nor have to tuck my d!ck between my legs and sit down to pee to play it. Nor does it have more shovelware and crap then good games like the Wii.

WTF are you talking about? Are you going to therapy for that?

Manatee6437d ago

I was going to offer the serious response of "I think it has to do with the dumbass Mii-like avatars they're adding," but I have no idea what the hell you're talking about otherwise.

Is that Billy Mays holding a 360 controller?

AAACE56437d ago (Edited 6437d ago )

For some reason I feel like the new update will create even more interest in XBL! I don't know if it's the primetime gaming or what, but it seem like something big is about to happen.

SixZeroFour6437d ago

its photoshopped...hes just doing his usual thumbs up and photoshopped the 360 in

One thing I am hoping for is when a game is installed on my HDD that the disk will be only used to detect that I have a legit copy of the game and then the DVD stops spinning insanely like it does now when a game is being played. Once the DVD rom isnt spinning at full speed my XBOX 360 is a whole lot quieter. But that DVD rom is very loud. I dont care about the loading speeds because its not that slow. I just want that DVD rom to stop spinning constantly so I dont need so much volume to play my games and hear them.

edhe6437d ago

your wish will be answered.

Just hope you have enough disc space ;)

steve30x6437d ago

I got the 60GB version of the Xbox 360 last week so I should have enough space for now.

Home-dudes are too realistic.
Mii's are to childish.
See the golden middle now?

steve30x6437d ago

I also find the Avatars uninteresting

DarXyde40d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
