Horizon was great.. Theres still more carpet bombs dropping on the industry too.. Even more single player adventures backed by sony studios.. Interesting to see play out.. Multiplayer focused side and theirs..

Anytime you go out of your comfort zone, you are gonna get scared. Any great talent will tell you that. It is how you channel that fear. They used it to craft a great game. That is how you do it.

And it's pretty fckn scary to make a new IP with this quality and the kind of investment you made on this, but you succeed it! they took their chance and it pay off. They have to be like really fckn proud now

Not that I regret GG moving on to new projects, because Horizon was incredible, but I get pretty fed up with shit sites like Gamingbolt slagging off Kilkzone. I personally really liked that series and clearly, I wasn't alone as the games sold millions of copies.

I can imagine! A developer whose done FPS for three gens to come out and create such an amazing world and characters, just WOW!!!!

I'm so glad Horizon got made! Just love everything about it and my God is it gorgeous!

I read the title and thought they were afraid to compete with GoW.

I can see why when they've never done a game as ambitious as HZD but they nailed the goals they set for themselves and now with HZD2 all they need to do is perfect the formula to have another guaranteed success.

It’s a good game but it did get pretty boring to me after a while. Fighting the Mechs is fun but fighting other humans is just awful. There was nothing special about the quest but I will add that I haven’t finished the game so maybe there are some better quest later. The gunplay is excellent however.

This is what I like from Sony's studios. They take risks. Experiencing with new formulas and concept. Rather than just playing it safe and predictable. Yes, I'm talking about Microsoft's exclusives so far that offered nothing more than just new entry of old IP with some eye candy upgrades, and sadly, none of them looks as astonishing as Horizon, Uncharted 4 or God of war.
People said Xbox One exclusives lacks of diversity? I'd say it lacks of creativity, concept, and story to make it a memorable game, rather than just about easy sales.

I'd have been pretty scared to release a product to an audience made almost entirely of males, where the product is full to the brim of cowardly npc beta males... Seems it did really well though.. Huh.
