I think we should take a look at Sony and Nintendo and see ourselves what makes a console successful.
I always laugh when I see responses from armchair business analyst. Most think success is measured by console sales.
Games make the console successful i mean is a fucking Video Game Console not a car. So get your arse in gear Microsoft and put out games for your game's console.
Microsoft is more concerned with creating an ecosystem than working on the individual console
MS is all over the place. They split their money in too many avenues(new tech, cloud, etc) which over exceed beyond their budget for gaming alone. They aren't willing to spend their money beyond their budget limit so somethings end up lacking because of it. They need to be more focused on gaming only if they want to succeed.
