That's some great "animation". Here I was thinking it was merely a frozen portrait with a slightly rotating camera or something.
and? its nothing new that hasnt been done before beside the fact the only thing animated is the camera moving and the leaves on trees/shadows...
Has anyone noticed graphics have improved a lot in tech demos. But when it comes to physics and stuff, it's been pretty much the same since they had Havok in Half Life 2.
Would be nice if we could alter landscape, have realistic flowing water that can flood areas, fire spread etc.. I know games can already have those but AFAIK it's scripted.
Without motion it reminds me of the early PS3 - XBOX360 demos that would use 100% of the console's horsepower to render a life like bust and sell it as if a whole game could be made with that level of fidelity.
