You and I both, Hideki. You and I both...
Nintendo is doing so much right, but I can't for the life of me understand why they haven't rolled out the VC yet. Considering the Wii and Wii U had it, how hard is it to make sure your new hardware has it also? It's been a dang year already!
funn how people can‘t wait to buy all the dated vintage stuff - again.
Yeah, that's an oversight on Nintendo's part. They're sitting on what's potentially the best legacy system they've ever had. The Switch's design can lend itself well to emulating both handheld and console games from the past, including more difficult modern stuff like Wii, Wii U, DS and 3DS games. Maybe Wii U might need an extra peripheral as I don't think the Switch can simultaneously relay an image to one's tv while being a handheld, but that's not a reason to halt the VC for all other legacy systems. I would really like to see the console and handheld VCs merged into one all-inclusive service.
Besides, I'd really like to see a Switch port of all those GBA games I couldn't play on my 3DS or SNES titles like Earthbound that I still couldn't play as I had an old 3DS. Also, I'd really like to see a port of Super Mario 3D World as I never had a Wii U, though I suppose that can be accomplished through a physical Switch port.
