"What I find extremely positive is that there is no motion sickness from this game whatsoever. Anything that makes me walk using the left stick gives me motion sickness in PSVR. "

That was my concern because I got motion sickness 20 mins playing RE7 in VR. Welp, looks like I will try this.

Neonridr3015d ago

did you ever play Farpoint? Did that make you sick?

Gamist2dot03014d ago

I tried it and I was fine until I made some strafing moves later in the game and that's when I felt it.

AnalogStickGaming3015d ago

I guess motion sickness just varies from person to person as I played RE7 start to finish in VR and I usually get the VR sweats pretty fast. Farpoint was also good, but I got motion sickness twice during that game, mostly due to myself pushing a bit too fast in it. Robinson Journey was by far the worst for motion sickness BY FAR.

Gamist2dot03014d ago

I was able to play Valkarie for over an hour and no motion sickness.

chris2353014d ago

dudes, really... motion sickness is only during the first few tries. it goes away wayyyyyyy to quickly. so, when everybody is mentioning motion sickness this only tells me they don't have a VR helmet. go on, use VR a little bit more often and you'll facepalm at all your comments you ever made about motion sickness. personally, i am disappointed that i am feeling no more motion sickness due to my brain adapted to the new sensation.

Neonridr3014d ago

it's not true chris, lots of people are affected by motion sickness. It's not as simple as riding a bike once or twice and then you get it. Everyone is different sadly. Some are able to get over it very quickly, others it takes a lot longer with more exposure. It took me a solid week of using my Rift regularly when it first came out in order to overcome it. And the first few times I played I felt quite sick (Adr1ft threw me for a loop the first time).

Just because it may have been easy for you doesn't mean it's easy for everyone. Just remember that.

Eurogamer have said it's utter garbage and push square didn't like it either.

Neonridr3014d ago

no offense but I would trust Eurogamer over Powerpyx.

There does seem to be a lot of variation in the review scores for this game, I've seen scores ranging from 1.5/10 all the way up to this review with a 9/10 and a mix of almost all scores inbetween :/

I think that games like Moss show that virtual reality can be done incredibly well but its quite a new medium that probably needs time to mature.

BenRC013014d ago

Vast majority of reviews are saying this is a turd. It was obvious, even (honest) early previews said it was a mess. Your money, go knock yourself out.

G20WLY3014d ago

Wow, this game's a divisive one!

Gonna hedge my bets and wait on a sale. Seems to be the fact it's not 'free movement' that's upsetting some reviewers. Maybe they didn't know enough about the game beforehand.. 🤔

The free shooting looks like fun, but Firewall will be more my speed - looks like Rainbow Six in VR. Free movement, free AIM, should feel like a next generation FPS!

I agree with a lot of games on the list (especially Gene Rain, One Piece, Quiet Man, etc.) but I disagree with Kirby Star Allies. It should have been replaced with New Gundam Breaker.

Bravo Team - Call For An Immediate Extraction / JTGA - Review

JTGA: There is enormous potential in these formative years of mainstream virtual reality. Sony’s headset is arguably at the forefront of widespread awareness, and regularly boasts interesting, experimental, and / or exclusive titles. When you give well established teams like Supermassive access to that same tech, one can’t help but be cautiously optimistic about titles like Bravo Team. Especially when you take into account their pedigree with stuff like Until Dawn.

On paper, the premise sounds like a Time Crisis arcade fans dream. You inhabit the role of a special forces operative, and lead the charge through various close combat scenarios. Co-op play is available, and you also have control over your A.I squadmates. There’s support for the PSVR Aim Cntroller, a replayable score attack style mode, and various difficulty levels.

It should be a winner. But unfortunately, Bravo Team fails to hit the mark.

Game was basically a rush job. They tried to make too many games at once and the result was lower quality games compared to their first release of rush of blood.

Hopefully they learned their lesson. They could have had 5 for 5 great games. Instead I only bought two games:until dawn and rush. And that's their fault.

JTGA2857d ago

I totally agree. It really feels like a phoned in effort. Such a shame, as Rush of Blood and The Inpatient were both great fun.

Bismarn asked me to say: "Yeah we know. This game was getting bad reviews a month ago. Why are people still discussing it."

JTGA2857d ago (Edited 2857d ago )

Stop discussing things people dont like!

Worst games of 2018 so far

Shawn Farner: "We've elected not to dive into the massive amounts of shovelware out there. The games on this list are ones you've likely heard of, as they either come from teams that have done great work in the past, or from franchises that have received mostly favorable reviews. In a year that's already full of fantastic games, the ones we've listed here let us down, and we're calling them out."

Joshua132870d ago

Oh come on, Little Witch Academia CoT isn't THAT bad. If anything, New Gundam Breaker and Agony should have been on the list.

FinalFantasyFanatic2869d ago

I agree fully, I also don't think Secret of Mana was that bad for a straight 3D port of an old game, especially after the patches. God, I hate how New Gundam Breaker turned out, I wanted to play that game so badly with my friend, then I got my hands on the beta and realized it was kusoge.

Whats wrong with little witch academia? Secret mana was ok. We never talk about metal gear survive. That name the game nd everything associated with it doesnt exist

DarkZane2869d ago

Secret of Mana remake doesn't belong on that list.

chris2352869d ago

yes it does. it‘s awful to play on ps4

Segata2869d ago

I found it mediocre. Not awful. Just meh.

FinalFantasyFanatic2869d ago

What's awful about it? People say they had alot of issues but I was fine, no crashes or anything, and the patches really fixed my major gripes. It was a straight 3D port of an old game, I was pretty happy with and really enjoyed it, but you can clearly see they didn't re-balance the gameplay.
