In one of those "a world rocked by cataclysmic destruction" situations, the "dark destroyer Syd endeavors to scale and raze the Living Tower" (an art nouveau-style spire that's alive with mystical energy), but along the way he "encounters the mysterious female warrior Fillena, who's also scaling the tower with an unknown agenda." Yeah, that's the kind of language the developers use when describing this game.
Quantum Theory is reputedly only about 20 percent to 30 percent finished, and it was only shown in trailer form at TGS. From our brief chat with members of Tecmo's recently formed development team, Team Tachyon, we learned that the shooting gameplay in this title has a major twist: The landscape changes in real time to provide -- and rob you of -- cover and to present new obstacles to overcome. While some of the landscape deformations in the Living Tower will be scripted, the environment will change randomly, leading us to believe that not all of the game's environmental encounters will have fixed difficulty."

Many developers try to copy great games and they often fail miserably. These are some video game rip-offs that are hilariously bad.
Every battle royale and soulslike. Every cartoony live service game with dancing

Many of the AAA out on the market today have garnered themselves millions of loyal fans and millions of dollars in revenue. But what if you can’t afford these $60 beauties, or perhaps are looking for something…different? These five video games are the generic store brands of the video game world. Just be warned — your mileage may vary.

The author intentionally plays bad video games for your twisted amusement. Tonight's Episode: Quantum Theory.
with Quantum Theory, I played the demo and was not impressed. I felt like they were trying to mix Gear of War with Lost Planet, and didn't do either very well. May be someone who never played either would have a blast with it though.
I followed this game forever until I finally came out. I got it and loved every bit of it. Originally supposed to be a PS3 exclusive. It got horrible reviews and I didn't understand any of them. They must've been playing a different game then me!

That right there sparked an otherwise dorment interest in this title. 20-30% done means they've still got some time to implement a few more graphical pushes and more information before release. Keep it up
Gears meets Castlevania. With the whole living tower and changing landscape.
Like in Castlevania there was always a haunted castle or something.
Sounds interesting
seem like an awesome game. I wanna see gameplay
interesting
i'd say its more of a cross between gears of war and fracture. if it in fact it plays like gears of war, which is not a bad thing for ps3 owners that never got a chance. for me the key would be the selling point would co-op/coopetition and strong story. if there is one thing i hate is a weak story.. bland like dark sector is ok but not weak.
