Why dafuq is such a concept still foreign to Nintendo? They don’t even allow you to transfer Switch saves to external devices.
I wish they would just use cloud saves.
Maybe I'm uninformed in saying this but perhaps the cartridge could at least have a saving component. I feel like the save files aren't big. Didn't cartridges save games back in the snes days ? Maybe I'm backward, or maybe Nintendo is with their implementations.
There's a good chance cloud saving is a coming with the paid online subscription, or in the very least it should be part of the package.
The save data will always be at risk until they let us save them on External Hard Drives (something Sony lets us do)
Can't believe the fuckin Switch is similar to the Wii U in how our saves are permanently stuck on the original console for keeps. Gaylord fockor consoles. I really liked how Reggie disrespected our intelligence by saying the fact it's a mobile console hybrid is why saves can't be backed up. That nature of the console has nothing to do with why saves can't be backed up whatsoever. Facts.
