Not to this extent and even then it was done much better if you’re talking about things like Mario All-Stars or like Final Fantasy series.

Things like Crash Bandicoot absolutely is the way remasters should be where it’s actually remastered but remasters are usually like Tomb Raider, Resident Evil 4-6, God of War 3... etc. these feel unwarranted.

I think remasters should be of games a few generations back that can benefit greatly by current gen tech.

I can’t think of tha single year in the past generations where there weren’t an abundance of rereleases.

Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy is a collection of remakes, not remasters. Don’t think the terms are interchangeable.

A game can be rereleased as many times as possible so more people can play it. Not everyone plays every title on the system it originally came out on.

I think if helped they the prices for all these products were extremely high at launch. Like no other cross over had prices these high. LotR for example weren't even close to FF MTG prices
