I didn't find a grip as necessary on the Switch as I did with the Vita.

The switch is extremely uncomfortable to hold. I have the skull & co grip, huge difference.

I don't have big hands or anything, so holding it for me is fine. It was the very rounded ends of the Vita that made it super uncomfortable to hold, my hands would cramp up using it for extended playtimes. I'm glad the grip is helping you with your Switch though.
