Interview about Diablo Features by Diii.net

Diii.net just had a chat with Ray Gresko and Leonard Boyarsky. For the fans that don't keep a clip book of all the Blizzard personalities (or can't be bothered to check them out at DiabloWiki.net), you'll find that these two are the bosses of the game world design. They talk of skills, Battle.net, runes, gambling, the game world and much more. This is a lengthy and very good interview, which is well worth a watch.

so much info. brain exploding...

Leord6354d ago

I know what you mean. I'm really disappointed in Blizz having to do that DirecTV deal. Especially for all fans in EU.

For panels and stuff, they also have limitations of when/how fansites can upload their own videos... Big bummer, imho!

Terrice6354d ago

Well, in Australia we got an affiliation TV pay-per-view that's ok, but I can imagine the Europeans...

Leord6354d ago

I can't understand why they didn't do it like WWI. I hough that was excellent!

Jeez. It's so nice to get proper, long interviews, as a lot of media sites have begun to make big news over each sentence that comes out of the developer's mouths. That's just hit whoring. This is teh way interviews should be shown =)

Synteny6354d ago

The people at Blizzard have loads of patience stored in them! I do not know if I would be able to do so many things at once!

Leord6354d ago

Do you mean the games, or so many interviews at once? =)

SCFreelancer6354d ago

Haha, well not only so many things at once, but they also have to repeat things over and over and... well you get the point. Still this is the case throughout the year when various press teams visit blizz.

Synteny6354d ago

I meant the interviews, guess I should have been more specific.

A Late Look Minis – Diablo, Balatro and Kingdom Hearts III

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "This is a collection of short Late Looks picking up on some of the games I meant to write a full article for but was too busy to do at the time. This time the games in question are the original Diablo, Balatro, and Kingdom Hearts III - a perfectly natural combination of games that you definitely expected to see grouped together. Not quite review and not quite rant, it’s more a casual assessment of what I – the gamer of the future – consider to be each game’s strengths and weaknesses in retrospect."

Blizzard Wants Faster Diablo Releases and More Expansions

Blizzard reveals plans to speed up Diablo releases with more frequent expansions and updates as the franchise moves toward a live-service future.

QuantumMechanic6d ago

All I want is a physical disc release of remastered D2 that doesn't require online check-ins.

VonAlbrecht6d ago

Ah, more and fast - the antithesis of careful and good

Christopher6d ago (Edited 6d ago )

I've lost complete interest. Too much FOMO with seasons as it is, now it's expansions? No thanks.

Michiel19896d ago

what fomo? everything gets reset each season and you start new characters unless you're playing on the regular servers and then you're already maxxed anway and just need to participate in the new season stuff.

Michiel19895d ago

i played only during launch and i found the ones in that battlepass to be absolute dogwater, the only ones that looked somewhat cool were the paid ones in the store and i wont bother with either. The game itself was just so hollow, there were no cool builds cause every synergy was just "x or y skills does more dmg or has this extra effect" almost no experimentation needed, couldnt give a rats ass about armor if the core of the game is boring af.

Finally some love for diablo 3, I completely agree with its placing! Very nice coop on the ps3 back in the day, but solo was a good grind as well, very enjoyable.

The only thing that irked me was buying the complete or ultimate edition or whatever and suddenly introducing a dlc that's not included.

INMATEofARKHAM333d ago

Trash article. No way you should be listing the original as third beat.

anast333d ago

Also Immortal should have been left off. It's a whale machine not a game.

Pergele333d ago

Diablo 3 > Diablo 2. I tried D2 after playing D3 many times and didn't like that nearly as much as 3.

anast333d ago

Diablo 2
Diablo 1

After this Diablo died.
