Lack of autonomy is a huge theme of the game though. It’s even in the title.

My only beef is that visually it doesn't make the most out of the PS4.
The same could be said for every single game ever made. "But is it for everyone?" talk about stupid.
Quick synopsis: "I'm mad I wrongly assumed because this was from PG that it would be just like Bayonetta, and there's too much thinking required. Is mentioning Bayonetta six times enough to convey that want this to be Bayonetta?"
Well, it isn't, and the idea of having Bayonetta's over-the-top sense of humor in a game with such serious themes and delicate topics is ridiculous. The Bayonetta games are terrific, but Nier has a completely different tone and a substantially deeper narrative.
