It’s practically the same. If not worse (last few seconds of the video it goes down to single digits).

And now people are gonna bring up the 1X being even more stable. As if that all of a sudden fixes the problems that 95% of the Xbox fanbase (playing on Xbox Ones) would experience if they played this game.

I definitely have no issue personally, but I use an SSD, so seems like they just have to optimize storage for the consoles. They say disabling DVR function also has the same result, since it frees up more RAM and is less reliant on slow HDD storage. There are definitely some drops, but they seem the rarity, however, you take a 1 second clip and act as if the whole game is 12FPS.

Weird how it is always the PS fanboys who come to these articles to comment based on a game they have never actually played and act as if they are somehow informed on the matter. Not to mention it is in preview still, so why it is so surprising that it is not fully optimized is beyond me.

Just played yesterday with 2 friends and multiple stranger throughout the day, and other than poor netcode, none of us had an impactful frame-rate issue, (one friend sitting next to me on an XB1 and me on and XB1X) other than the plan ride and load-in area where all the players start before the game.

A “1 second clip”? Every time he loots it drops.

“Not to mention it is in preview still, so why it is so surprising that it is not fully optimized is beyond me.”

It’s so surprising because people paid quite a bit to play a poorly optimized game on their Xbox Ones (a small fraction of the user base has a 1X).

And good for you. Your personal example is not representative of the whole user base. I work with data all the time. Your example would be laughed at.

"I work with data all the time."

Oh, well if you say so, it must be true, how dare anyone question you....

The reality is, this video, is just one persons gameplay also, and is only 2 minutes long and is spliced apart, so not really a great analysis. Also, as I said disabling DVR (the recording function) on XB1 or XB1X makes the game run at an almost stable 30FPS, by opening up RAM, and loading fewer assets from slow HDD storage. Not sure what your "work with data" has to do with that at all.

My experience is anecdotal, sure, but so is this video, and your input is not even anecdotal, as you have clearly never played the game, and constantly bash anything MS does anyway.

My point is, I played yesterday with 4 people, and the game was stable, I was the only one with a One X and the game definitely was a lot more unstable before the patch, and specifically, disabling DVR increase framerate prior to the patch before-hand, and more stable now.

You are using a 1 second clip from a 2 minute video as proof the game runs at 12FPS, which just isn't true.

"It’s so surprising because people paid quite a bit to play a poorly optimized game on their Xbox Ones"

Yes, on the basis they know it is not a finished game, and is still being worked on. Not sure what your point is, noone forced anyone to buy it, and it is clearly labelled as being currently in development, so not sure what your argument is here.

When Digital foundry re-runs the tests with DVR disabled and the new patch, I suspect, you will hear very similar response to what I am saying, but as someone who actually owns and plays the game, compared to you who just comes here to whine, that shouldn't be a surprise.

The multitude of others who agree with my claims:

But we will just assume your "work with data" is much more important than people actually playing the game....

“But we will just assume your "work with data" is much more important than people actually playing the game....”

To you and all trolls below, my comment was in regards to your personal experience set as the standard for everyone. No reason to be dense by attempting to relate my comment to fps or your “work around” by disabling Xbox functions just to have it work at a sub-30 fps.

And the argument isn’t that as a consumer, buying a game you should expect it to work. Even the devs said it was performing bad. Yet you’re here denying it? Lol

Some of you guys are too much. Can’t even have a decent conversation with most of you.

Peace.

Think you will find there's a big improvement septic said so ;)

Brave_Losers_Unite2990d ago

So its still <20 fps?? Near the end of the video it reaches 12 fps and at one point 1 fps

Sir, please control your urges to post facts here. You’ll get downvoted.

So far he has nothing but agrees. Maybe you should downvote him yourself to save face

ThinkThink2989d ago

The thing about facts.. You need to keep up with them and not go based on old data.

UltraAtomic2990d ago

Well I think the only thing this does is maybe not making my xbox crash as much but that's about it

UltraNova2990d ago

You are welcome sir!

What? Someone has to nice around here for a change.

Emme2990d ago

They need much more time for this. Practically every game on Xbox performs better, so its not the hardware.
