PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Xbox One First Impressions

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds made its debut on Xbox One last week and it did so with a bang. Within 48 hours of the game being released 1 million people were playing it. Let's get this out-of-the-way right off the bat. PUBG is in Game Preview so it is expected to have its flaws until the developers start updating the game with new patches. To be honest I was surprised at how smooth PUBG ran, well in most cases.

I'm getting this for my son for christmas. He has been wanting to play it but his PC can barely play TF2 so he will play this on the xbo instead. the consensus from those who play it is that the game is fun. Even in the state it's in and it's obvious it will only get better.

Krafton profits up to $171.5 million despite lowest quarter since 2020

From GI.biz: "Krafton, the Korea-based publisher behind PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, released its Q3 financial results alongside news on how it's expanding its collection of studios.

The company reported that it saw revenues of $328.5 million and net profits of $171.5 million, the latter marking a year-on-year improvement of 27%.

Krafton also announced it plans to acquire Neon Giant, the developer behind The Ascent, and open a new studio in Canada."
