From GameWatcher: "Friday The 13th: The Game was supposed to get a single-player mode in Summer, but that obviously never happened. The game's developer Illfonic have now taken to the game's Steam forum to confirm that the single-player is "delayed", explain how it happened, and that they're "breaking it into a number of different experiences that can be released independent of one another".
A new Friday the 13th game is confirmed to be in development under a larger studio, as the Jason Universe plans long-term expansion across film, games, and media.
"The first phase included collaborations with major brands such as Fortnite, Call of Duty, Youtooz, and Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights."

Well they start by actually giving an actual single player game, instead of another multiplayer crap that will be phased out in a few years.

I wonder if it will only be a multiplayer live action game just like the last game? Will it have a single player?
What's the point? If the license expires as fast as the other F13th games it's gone be gone in a year lol....
Needs to be a single player game. If it's multiplayer like the last one, it'll be shut down again after a year or so.

I knew they would have to add Medievil for October on either Ps plus or Ps Now ! Glad i waited.
I bought medieval earlier this year when it was on sale for 20. And after the game being out for 20 years I finally beat it and I loved it.
I’ve learned that not all games are meant to be beat right away. But, it’s always nice to have options.
