The garden simulation Plantera Deluxe is available now for Nintendo Switch digitally via the Nintendo eShop for $4.99 / €4.99.

This casual, fun loving game will capture players with it’s simple controls and it’s mobile game-like features to create their own farm.

In Plantera you build your own garden and watch it grow with new plants, bushes, trees and animals.
I have it on PC. It's really fun and even addictive at first, but there is no endgame. You plant more and more, grow more and more, and eventually realize that's all your doing. The only difference between 10 hours of play and 20 hours of play is the number of trees and sheep you have. Literally. That's it. No story, no quests, no events other than the loot hero guy appearing randomly.
It's okay if you can get it for a dollar. You'll spend a few hours planting trees before the fun wears off.
* I will add though that because the Switch is so energy efficient, it lends itself well to idling games like this. I want to get one, and I wouldn't feel bad letting it run a game 24/7 like I do on my laptop.
