During the latest month the gap grew in favor of the Switch during the same time frame by 71,659 units when compared to the PlayStation 4 during the same timeframe. The Switch is currently behind the PlayStation 4 by 1.26 million units.
The PlayStation 4 launched in November 2013, while the Nintendo Switch launched worldwide in March 2017. The Switch has sold 7.92 million units, while the PlayStation 4 sold 9.17 million units during the same timeframe.

PS4 sales are way ahead in sales but that doesn't matter much. These machines are way different. I'm glad that both Japanese products are doing great. Both machines serves their purposes quite well. I'm glad that PS4 has a robust income and so the Switch.
