I think gamers rage because they care. Everyone wants to be good or feel successful in task they pursue, when you invest time and money in a game, and you realize you're not even good at it, it can be hurtful, but you have to maintain composure, and keep working at it and you'll see improvement in time.
While some "Pros" probably are naturally good at it, they also take a lot of effort and practice and time. I used to get so mad I'd throw my controller, if i'm being honest, ARMS on the switch was the last game that got me that mad, but lately i've just been breathing and moving on, i can't really get better if i'm too busy breaking my controller.
why not? it's a harmless way to let the steam out
