The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.
Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse

Guild Wars 2 been playing for 14yrs, 1st beta. This is just one company I support, Arenanet and NCSoft, even though I torrent, there are a few PC companies I will buy from. "PlayStation’s Horizon MMO spin-off, Horizon Steel Frontiers." I feel this will be good, NCSoft is a good developer/publisher.
It’s a tool. Use it elevate things and get it done faster. I’m sorry but not every game made by humans is good. If this can help things, then I fully embrace it.
EA cares enough to react because they've had 1 1/2 to 2 generations to adapt with negativity. I'll give them the benefit of a doubt when they smarten up and put their studios and the community first.

it's so baffling to me how they use the developers as shields it's saddening because I know how the developers feel having to come out and defend something they had no choice in deciding. Yet as a consumer when given a face to a product I respond to those connected even if they aren't making the big decisions it creates a fake hostile situation between consumers and developers when in reality the consumers problem is with publishers and those cloaked stock holders.
The sucky part is developers have to sing EA praises up until the day their studio is eventually shut down . .and even than given how it works you can't speak as that would be the end of your career unless your someone like kojima whose reputation is legendary.

Alright I agree let's get these ceo's to take a pay cut or scale back on their expenses or how about budgeting those AAA titles, this honestly sounds like something you should take up with the company that employs you but than again how could you when they're the ones giving you these excuses to feed to consumers.
I've heard about the working conditions of some of these studios . . for anyone to accuse consumers of not giving a F is ludicrous we fund their livelihoods because they give us an enjoyable escape when that form of escapism becomes tedious and annoying we voice complaints at this point they've pushed to hard it's time for the camels back to break.
I know a few people who went to school for gaming development it's their passion they wanted to create their dreams and make a living wage while doing it .. .on the other end of that is the person who want's to take hold of that dream and corrupt it until it's a piss festering monster that even the creator can't recognize.
Good god. How do these things get written? ROFL If the writer honestly believes EA just blindly does crap and then puts out fires afterwards, then wow.......... You don't build such a business to their level of profit and control by being completely stupid.

They will take the negativity, backlash, and anger, having calculated a good chance that it will push this garbage through to be accepted in the future. Take a loss now, in order to make a killing later. How the f**k do people think we got to the position we're in now with all this bulls**t? I didn't happen overnight.
So long as companies continue to know how to manipulate stupid people to throw their money at them, the rest of us are stuck going along for the ride.
EA, and the likes, know "precisely" how to act. The ones who only know how to "react", are the stupid lemmings that are being bent over year after year. Why this would need to be explained to anyone? I have no idea.
This game will be free to play mid next year as players stop playing after beating the story mode
