Sonic Forces just released to less than stellar reviews. The game has many flaws in its controls, level design, and general pacing. However, diehard Sonic fans will still get a kick out of climbing up the leaderboards by speedrunning every level.
The divide between both iterations of Sonic is now reaching spin-off territory, and the way Sega is handling it is both a blessing and a curse.

Sega aims to release 2D Sonic games alongside the 3D ones each year, but it's questionable how the company plans to continue this trend.
Still gotta play it
Played it, enjoyed it, once again it's a Sonic game where i haven't ran into the problems that other people say exist.
