CAPCOM's Monster Hunter: World Producer explained why the studio chose the old MT Framework as the engine for this new game.

Cliff Bleszinski shares thoughts on Gears of War’s PlayStation debut, E-Day, and Microsoft’s Game Pass strategy.

The narrative deduction title is available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and the App Store for just $7.
MT is good (imo was needing a bit more optimizing and evolvement but is far far better than the lame U4 engine that has plastic /fake feel look on everything
That's good
That engine has helped produce superb looking titles
The best game engine they ever built and for all of their experience on the engine making sure the game will come out faster and with optimized performance.
Not to mention this old engine is still a looker 10+ years after it was created.
I like that. I prefer game developers use their own engine to show and improve it even further.
