Where is HDR for the Xbox ?

PlayStationBrah2997d ago

Same day! (Updated the article)

Gman322997d ago

If you actually read the article you would've known they added 4k hdr for xbox one x

Miacosa2997d ago

Nice to see that that Ubisoft brought HDR support for Xbox One S, PS4, and PS4 Pro instead of holding it back until the Xbox One X released on Nov. 7th like planned.

joab7772997d ago

So nice. Bought this against my better judgement and I’m loving it!

Hardiman2997d ago

Cool downloading it now. Can't wait for HDR! An amzing looking game will look even better!!!!!

showtimefolks2997d ago (Edited 2997d ago )

will buy middle of next year for under $20 and by than should be a finished game with all the patches. days of getting releases which are quality tested are gone. by waiting get an overall better experience at a better price

people who buy day one are being asked to test games and provide feedback

deadfrag2997d ago

True! How can they release this game on the PS4 pro with unstable framerates that dip very often below the 30fps,and the bugs this game have many.I frankly was expecting more.

showtimefolks2997d ago

i think it's a sad thing that we are now moving towards even more unfinished games that publishers want us to buy today and they may or may not patch later. EA stopped patching mass effect so we are not even sure if we will get games patched up. Just cause 3 needs more patches so does mad max yet avalanche moved on from both soon after launch

by waiting we get to see honest reviews pop up with pros and cons. Than buy it for less and in most cases get a game that is now ready to play

Hardiman2997d ago

So true in the case of Assassins Creed games. In the case of Origins it was a gift and it's done really well but when I hit level 20 there seemed to be a few glitches such as cats appearing and meowing at my feet in the middle of nowhere and Bayek saying sand storms coming and I wouldn't be in the desert but it seems this patch has ironed out some of those. Also the HDR makes it look even better! I did the same thing with Unity and when I got it there weren't any problems and I enjoyed it!

I've Been Replaying Assassin's Creed Origins, And It's Reminded Me What Shadows Is Sorely Lacking

It took going back to a much older game to realise just how empty Assassin's Creed Shadows feels.

"I've never thought feudal Japan would be a good Assassin's Creed setting. Give me 1960s southern England with mods and rockers."

Aaaaaaand that's where I stopped reading.

Terry_B235d ago

Never read anything on that website.

chicken_in_the_corn235d ago

I agree with the first part of their statement. Japan is so overused and it wasn't particularly interesting in Shadows. Now that it's been done, they can do something better.

isarai234d ago

Tf? Almost had an aneurysm at the thought of that concept, like what?

And shadows reminds me of something origins is lacking. Virtually every game is lacking something. It is because it is lacking, that it has what it isnt. Funny dichotomy that…

anast235d ago

Origins is a beautiful game made by talented people that got turned into a brutal level-gate fest by the CEOs.

PRIMORDUS235d ago

There are only a few Assassin's Creed games I played. Original, The Ezio Collection, and what I think is probably the best in the series Assassin's Creed Odyssey with the DLC. I'm done with the series, it's the same shit.

isarai234d ago (Edited 234d ago )

Same, enjoyed 1, looooved the ezio trilogy, and 4 was peak, everything after that just sucked. Unity was a great direction but the bugs and how long it took to fix killed it, best parkour system in the series tho

AC Origins is the last great Ubisoft game. Period. This game show how great the Ubisoft story writing once was. Also the meticulous research Ubisoft did in the field of Egyptology. Ubisoft was so pride of their research that it made a separate Touring mode just to showcase all of their study.

10 Video Game Sequels That Saved Their Franchise

Video game sequels like Assassin's Creed Origins, Doom (2016), and Fire Emblem Awakening were just what these franchises needed to be revitalized.

Immagaiden987d ago

Lmao what’s Halo Infinite doing on this list?

Who would ever say Halo Infinite saved the Halo franchise

SullysCigar986d ago

Thought the same - very bizarre!

RE7 though... my God, what a shift over RE6! That franchise was definitely going in the wrong direction, so RE7 was a welcome return to form.

ModsDoBetter986d ago

Resi 6 was and still is the worst entry in the series.
7 was a great turnaround, despite people’s concerned about the switch to FP perspective.

DMC5 definitely helped the franchise after the whole DmC debacle. Whilst it was a decent action game, it was a far cry from the series and the characters we knew.

AC Origins is my favourite in the entire AC series. Despite the switch to a more RPG style of gameplay - the setting, soundtrack, length, etc were all amazing. sadly followed up by the ridiculously long and “more of the same” Odsyssey.

I don’t feel it’s fair to say the franchise slipped with Doom 3, Doom 3 was incredibly atmospheric and took the game in a different direction but there’s no denying Doom (2016) was sensational.

Halo 4 & 5 were disappointing but Halo Infinite definitely didn’t save the franchise? What?

TheEnigma313986d ago (Edited 986d ago )

I'm going to have to go with SMB 3. I was around when SMB 2 first came out and people hated it. 3 is still arguably the best mario game created.

HellspawnPR1981986d ago

"Halo Infinite"? Worse Halo ever. Whoever made this list just lost all credibility.

Hofstaderman986d ago

In future lists of a similar nature I have a suspicion Final Fantasy XVI will feature.
