Following up by an Age Of Empires announcement for the Xbox One. :)

slavish03131d ago

They just announced halo wars crossplay is coming so age of empires is coming

ocelot073130d ago

I have my doubts about. No mention of AOE Definitive for Xbox same goes for AOE4 when it was announced. Rise Of Nation's has been available on the Windows 10 store for a while now with Xbox features (achievements) but still no word on an Xbox version.

Obscure_Observer3130d ago

@ocelot07

They wouldn´t make an official announcement regarding an AOE version for Xbox One before propper M&K support is out.

ocelot073130d ago

Why though? Xbox over the years have had plenty of RTS games over the years from command & conquer to Battle for Mid earth to Supreme Commander to more recently Halo Wars 2. All played fine with a controller.

If it was going to be announced for Xbox. I just think it would of been announced by now. Even with standard controller support then announce keyboard and mouse support later.

Awesome makes RTS more enjoyable!

I disagree with this decision due to getting my azz handed to me when I wanted to be comfortable and use a controller on my PC playing an fps on a 4k TV ....the mouse and keyboard has an advantage, console gamers shouldnt have to deal with that

Who cares about online play. Not everybody's lives revolve around online FPS.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing16d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9216d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit16d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing16d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9216d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
