Pro looks brighter and a tab bit sharper. If you have both the sharpness cannot be spotted. The s holds up well considering its $400 and the S is $200

Some of the XB1 screens do look better at first, then noticed the lighting is missing for many of the same shots that is included PS4.

GLobal illumination difference? 90% is literally light not emitting through windows properly.

As a pspro owner and Xbox naysayer I have to admit there's very little difference.
Saw it running on a maxed pc on YouTube and it looks stunning. If the one x can march that I may 're order my cancelled pre order lol.

If the graphical difference is enough for someone to buy another console, that's their respective decision and they should go ahead and do it. Otherwise - when they are actual gaming, I doubt they'll think about the comparison.

The vids are clearly favoring the PS4 pro. And that's a shame because I'm an xbox and Switch owner and am not finding a reason to upgrade my Xbox one. These comparison vids have to be faked or marked wrong. Please someone make sense of why the PS4's lighting affects and detail in level are CLEARLY visible even on a YouTube video when it obviously will look better on a device that you can view it in 4k. Just wow.

really we're comparing betas now. ok here it is the pro has better lighting in the beta but that's all I have noticed. Also if that's the extent of the difference then either EA needs to get better engineers or the pro is just not easy to develop for or worth the development cost. Opinion the pro has done nothing for me over the base ps4 just compare the pro beta vs the base model. The pro was and is a wasted system so far except when I played horizon zero dawn. be honest what game has made your pro purchase sing or delight you over the base model?

A bit blown away at how good the X1S looks compared to the extra power of the Pro. Not as nice but still very close. Makes me wonder if the X1X version will be improved over the Pro version or stay on par with it.

This was the title i was waiting on to see visuals on the X. If the X looks Just like the pro and S like the video here. Im not buying the X. Reason being everyone says multis are going to be so much better on the X. One of the first big releases on the X need to sell me on why i should go out and buy the X.

What type of retard compares a base console to a mid gen upgrade.

Not sure what people are looking at here but I see even at the start of the vid when they do the run over change between the 2, at 20sec the pro has extra details in the middle of the thruster and then when it pans over with the Xbox version the middle of them has been plated over and looks plain. I'd rather the extra detail in my visual thanks, not really concerned about minimal lighting effects. Visual detail in the Pro is better than the Xbox by quite a bit. PC version should look unbelievable compared to both.

It's not exactly fair to compare the XBOX ONE S to the PS4 PRO. This would be more fair if it were the XBOX ONE X vs the PS4 PRO or the XBOX ONE S vs the PS4. This comparison is BS.

Call it damage control or whatever you like, but there isn't enough of a difference ESPECIALLY in the heat of battle, to notice. I really don't see too much of a difference in this video let alone the game where I'll be running from gunfire and lightsabers. If you think you can see the difference and it's THAT noticeable, you deserve to spend an extra $500 on an X1X. I'll stick with my PS4 Pro instead.

Well thing is this comparison actually only highlights what a decent job a lowly 1.3TF machine does compared to one that has 4.2TF. Pro is better as you would expect but X1S not looking too shabby either for only having a 3rd of the power. Resolution, texture quality and lighting being the main differences I can see. I'm guessing Pro is checkerboard as well - which is fine, but you do wonder where that extra 2.9TF is going.

I hate these comparisons... how can you compare a clearly better hardware with an "old" one? They had to do PS4 Vs XboneS. And besides that, in real both look better than in this video.
But i don't know why they had to make this comparison with the PS4 Pro, that of course will be better. Maybe for clicks...

Need I remind everyone that this is still just a Beta. Nothing we are seeing here is necessarily indicative of the final product. And I should honestly expect the Pro version to look better than the XB1S version, I mean there is a significant difference in GPU power. What is the point of comparing these two. This would be like me doing a comparison video of a PC game running on my 1080ti vs my old 970 that I upgraded from. Of course the game is going to look different.

Had some worries based on this "comparison", played the beta on Xbox and look and beholde: total bullshit. Those "missing" lights are exactly where they are supposed to be, and apart fron resolution, the Xbox version looks exactly like the others.

It's crazy to think till this day people will fight to the death over the console they choose. If Sony didn't crush the competition there would not be an Xbox one X Period. So thank Sony for that. PS4 PRO wouldn't exist if there wasn't PSVR. Yes the original PS4 does VR you dont need a PS4 PRO to play but to complete with the big boys of PC VR Sony felt they needed the Pro. Now this year the Xbox one X will drop. Because of that it will kick Sony in high gear for the PS5 especially if the Xbox One X can gain some serious numbers. All this is good, This all brings us semi current Hardware. Which in return our games and services can only get better. Buy your Hardware choice and enjoy it. By the sales numbers alone these hardware company's will keep pushing out greater hardware to keep people spending money. But really why the hell does a community have to constantly keep tearing each other apart when over 90% of the contents is the same on both systems. 1 might play slightly better than the other visually. But they at the end of the day they're going to run exactly the same on each brand. While some games caps at 30 FPS or 60fps it is the same exact game. So get over it and just enjoy it that is my opinion on it.
