The Wii is just unstoppable.I wish I worked for Nintendo.

I guess Fifa 09 will sell 3x as much on PS3 in europe

poor MS.
eeverything is over for x360 in europe now

expect ps3 hw sales to rise considerably with fifa 09

Montrealien6442d ago

aww, that's to bad for MS, they should just close shop, they are clearly doomed.

I would be interested in the actual numbers, I'm willing to bet those three countries sell as many consoles as the ten most populated states in the US. You do understand that at the rate the 360 is selling in NA, they could be dead in Japan and Europe, and still be profitable and selling games and consoles for years to come. You do understand that don't you?

Why o why6442d ago (Edited 6442d ago )

The rest of the EU dont care too much for the 360 and its obvious. EU = Sony and Nintendo and MS has said this themselves so the charts are not surprising at all

True Mont i think they signed a deal with the gaming D*vil

Montrealien6442d ago

I don't even think MS cares. I'm amazed at the Wii, I would never had guessed this kind of Nintendo dominance 5 years ago.

light6441d ago

It's not that MS doesn't care. Its more like they can't care enough to make difference.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing27d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9227d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit27d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing27d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9227d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
