Remember when we just played games and didn't concern ourselves with the sexuality of all the characters? That was nice.

Why does it even come into consideration on what the characters sexual orientation is? Why is it even mentioned? Its a game where players shoot each other with weapons. FFS what? So players can relate to them more? So tell me._.._one of the most successful and perhaps even the most iconic, or one of the most iconic. How many people do you think can relate with a pint sized Italian MAN whos occupation was a plumber? Who likes to rescue women in distress and consumes the odd poisoness looking mushroom now and again? Or perhaps a Blue Hedgehog that was great at running and constantly freeing his friends from a bad man? You see what i did there? All the politically correct bullshit needs to stop. Pandering to these morons. Its not your fault those people are insecure about their sexual orientation that they constantly need to bring it up and remind everyone else in the world about it when we all dont fucking care and just want to do our own thing and get on with our lives. Gender is science based not culturally, way to push a narrative

It's moves like this that stops the rest of us having nice things.. doesn't Blizzard see what these sort of moves are doing to the wider community? It's not weird in principle (a robot being genderless should be assumed already, unless it's programmed as such that it's not), but it's the fact they're so blatantly stroking this whole modern gender issue to make them seem "progressive", it's just shoehorning 101 and an attempt to appear more relevant. The fact he came out and said "Lynx would prefer to be referred to them/they" is just a desperate hop on the freakathon SJW bandwagon, as that is the precise language they use.

It's the Tracer thing all over again; it's an fps game with an extended universe about humanity's struggle with omniscient robots. Fair enough. But why sexuality is brought into the frame is beyond me.
