Sony Rep6427d ago (Edited 6427d ago )

Now this is interesting. Since, they are the same developers making that new RPG game for the PS3.

Where are the people who were bashing that game because of the developer??

Wildarmsjecht6427d ago

I remember a few of them. They continued to bash the PS3 game as well because of the developers less than stellar track record. Which presents 2 points:

1, people will bash a game if it's on another platform regardless of which it is.

2, people will bash a game if the developer has been known for mediocre at best titles in the past, even if they might have gotten better.

What a world eh?

Man_of_the_year6427d ago

Hmm i don't recall reading anywhere in the posts about anyone bashing those developers as i like the software devs. Maybe you could provide a link so that i can read what all those people were saying about software.

Also..seems a little strange that a "sony rep" is the first to post in an xbox 360 thread...are you looking to troll??

Jamie Foxx6427d ago (Edited 6427d ago )

for microsoft compared to sony is sparse for the tokyo game show...sony 9 unannounced exclusives not including the ones we know about...TGS promises to be interesting

wonder if microsoft have another FF13 shocker up their sleeves? if not looking at that list n4g will be full of ps3 won TGS,trust me...

The Lazy One6427d ago

It would be full of that if Sony showed up with nothing but twinkies and spent the whole conference smoking out back.

Beast_Master6427d ago

I only saw one exclusive (nuts and bolts), is that right? I am not sure about Star Ocean 4 I heard it is timed right? Anyway it doesn't appear as though MS is interested in competing with Sony at this show, which they shouldn't considering Japan is a lost cause.

juuken6427d ago

Ninja Blade does look interesting.

at last sony's working on bringing jrpg's to the ps3! now we have the promising White Knight Chronicles that looks super awesome and like the first real next gen jrpg, FFXIII, FFXIII versus, Disgaea, The Last Remnant and now this one. ;-)

published by SCEE ;-D

edit: oh F***, the dev are From Software... this game's bound to be a piece of crap. ;-( "

BlackRaven856427d ago

Japan is not a loss cause, are you even around to here that Japan is actually buying the things now. IU and Tales of are the two games that sold well. Don't be blind.

Man_of_the_year6427d ago

Well i see a lot of people questioning the quality and backing it up with what their past work has achieved - however i still don't see all that many posts where they actually "BASH" the devs of Software. Maybe you exaggerated just a little bit there don't ya think...

AAACE56426d ago

It seems like they don't have enough games directly targeted toward the japanese audience! I expected the majority to be games that I couldn't pronounce. But I guess it could work!

Shane Kim6427d ago

lol there are like 3 exclusives. And 2 of them are really, really weak.

dro6427d ago (Edited 6427d ago )

is ms show gonna be like e3 again!!! showing of a bunch of multi plat games and only a few exlusives.... :/
EDIT : and also race driver grid came out a long time ago, y the hell will they put it as part of there show,im guessing they paid for exlusive dlc,"BIG DEAL"!?!?!?!?!? i tought the hole point was to show of brand new ip... facepalm/....!!!

Harry1906427d ago

isn't out in Japan yet.I hope to hear about a few more exclusives.

chrisnick6427d ago

saints row2?......lol....half of those won't happen......again....and i cant stress this enough..THEY NEED MORE EXCLUSIVES!!!

GodGinrai6427d ago

they need to take a leaf out of sonys book on this one and build more in-house teams and on an international basis at that (in house teams in europe, japan and the US). They also need to stop letting 360 games like bio shock, mass effect and gears go to the pc.It dents the 360`s appeal to more tech savvy consumers, i think. and they need to get rare to start making some proper games again!

Beast_Master6427d ago

I agree but rare is just one studio, I mean Sony has Insomonic and Media Molocule to push out casual stuff. They need to have at least one studio pushing casual games out. I think MS needs to add a couple of studios, because I just don't see that Gears or Halo big game coming next fall to compete with God of War 3. I think they are about even this fall but next year I would not be surprised if they don't have much of a lineup, unless they push back Halo Wars which still isn't that exciting.

Guwapo776427d ago

MS has a few studios but they have been axing them down lately. Not sure what the reasoning behind it is.

~~flame thrower is warm

I wonder what Sony is going to show

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde20d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

Soy21d ago

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
