The only gripe I have with the GTA franchise is that they stay in the SAME CITIES, how many times do we have to go thru HD versions of these Cities. I'd like to see them go anywhere other then LC,SA, or VC. Chicago, London, DC, Atlanta, or any major metropolis would be great imo.

Vice City is the next location. It'll happen..

If I were to pick a new location it would be upper middle America like Chicago or Detroit in the winter time. You got:
Canadians and Arabs, Hunting, Lakes, Snow and big Cities all of which could fit the GTA format. But honestly they could make a new game and still fit the mold. RDR is GTA in the West, but they won't call it that.

Many games are about the satire of American culture but for all we know it's about the satire really of any culture, so I believe it is feasible to have a Grand Theft Auto in Japan or in the United Kingdom where you simply satire the culture that exists there but by no means did I ever read anywhere that the Grand Theft Auto games are only to be exclusively be about American Concepts.

Put it this way that's like saying the God of War series can only be about Greek mythology.... Well unless you actually are working on that series that's only a perception based on what already exists, not what can in the future. If we have several God of War games are all Norse mythology somebody might come out and Define the God of War Games as being about a specific mythology they won't specifically State Greek or Norse simply because the series will no longer be exclusively about one specific concept.

That's almost like saying Final Fantasies are about a old age Victorian type concept.... Before Final Fantasy 6.

Can you define Final Fantasy as being that? You could no longer technically do that technically Final Fantasy is about multiple type of settings and fictional time periods.

Consider that's probably what Grand Theft Auto could be especially if you consider there is a Grand Theft Auto games set in London

I don't think the Grand Theft Auto series is exclusively about American satire in terms of culture I simply think by happened chance of the Cities they chose that might be the outward appearance when in reality they're simply about the satire of many cultures especially if we get a Grand Theft Auto outside of the United States.

You could only push that angle for so long before it starts to get tiresome.

They were working once on a GTA Tokyo during the 3D universe but they canned the project due to issues and they said no to London rather they said that GTA will be only within United States.
