Cultured Vultures: Ya boy Brian has some things he wants to get off his chest about a game that he loves.

PlayStation has scaled back expectations for Bungie after reassessing Destiny 2 development costs, highlighting the risks tied to live-service games.
Honestly Thank Goodness!! Yet another good sign of a possibility of returning to what made them great and undoing Jim Tyans trend chasing love service gamble. Still gotta wait and see just what direction they're going but this is a good sign in my book that they're not betting it all on live service anymore
It may take a while but maybe they are finally learning. Good! Now stop with the live service crap.
They say this and then immediately release news of the Horizons co-op game that will definitely be a Live Service game.

Patch notes for Update 9.5.0.5, the one about Equilibrium fixes and more, are now available.

A new survey shows Destiny 2 is considering adding Sparrow Racing League, unvaulted campaigns, NPC sidekicks, new PvP and Gambit modes, and much more.
1. Story: It's not the greatest narrative agreed, but it's head and shoulders above the first and entertaining enough for a game where our goal is to blitz past the story and get to end game anyway.
2. Jumping: Jumping is fine. The negatives of jumping outlined in the article are the same for any game. Fall off a cliff?? Jumping won't help. Miss timed your jump?? of course it's not gonna jump properly.
3. PVP: Not bad. Harder for non clan players in this one but it's still a fun part of the game. You're playing control wrong. Why would split the team up?? At most you should be doing 2 and 2 to capture 2 points but in general go around as a whole team. Also killing is still very important in control. The reason for capturing the control points is so your kills get more points. Got one or less captures?? That's 1 point per kill while your opponents are getting 2-3 points per kill.
4. Shaders: Agreed. They shouldn't have gotten rid of permanent shaders, especially seeing as people spend money on bright engrams for them. I also don't like that I need multiple of the same shader to fully shade(?) my guardian because each one can only apply to one piece of gear.
I feel the worst thing about Destiny 2 is the end game drop off. You work towards a lot leading up to the higher level Light but around 270 it gets pretty difficult and grindy to get any higher.
Ugh, this article is bad.
Personally the only thing I don't agree with is the jumping argument. The story is a massive improvement over the first. Sure, it is cliched but it's simple and tells it through to the end. PvP is just ok if you're really into the competitive side of things.
