They just had to put Black Panther and the Monster Hunter rep behind the season pass, huh? Dick move by Capcom.

Majin-vegeta3162d ago

You can only blame them for MH rep.BP they have no control over

DarXyde3161d ago

Looks like this season pass....

....

........

Is this season's pass.... cause no one wants it....

Brb, drinking a gallon of bleach.

Obvious...it's Capcom

However the lacking character lineup is one of the many things which has made this installment quite lackluster

Chevalier3162d ago

Yeah no top tier Xmen characters.

Rangerman12083162d ago

Or any new Capcom characters. Seriously, where the heck is Gene?

Nybz3162d ago

Collecting them dollars before big daddy Dragon Ball FighterZ comes out.

Sorta funny seeing a lot of pro FGC players preparing to leave the MvC franchise for Dragon Ball.

Feels like Capcom is out of touch with the community on this one.

Is it just me or does this game seem "dry" ?

MrSwankSinatra3162d ago

They scared of big daddy dragon ball fighterZ, not only does that game have the clout behind it with the studio makin it, but we already know the DBZ brand eclipses anything capcom has.

PapaBop3162d ago

Well to be fair, the Marvel brand is bigger than DBZ but the difference between the two games is that one is leaning on the brand to sell their game while the other is going out of their way to do the brand justice.

Flipgeneral3162d ago

Which pros are you referring to? Watch flipchamp, Justin Wong, Chris G, IFC Yipes, UM Tyrant, and on and on. They're all having fun with the game and pleased with how it turned out.

Nybz3161d ago (Edited 3161d ago )

Yeah I'd be pleased too when I have contracts and sponsors to appease, ya dig? :D

Truth be told they do seem to enjoy the game but shit, I'd enjoy a McDonald's hamburger too after not eating much for a long period of time - the FGC scene was craving something new since Tekken 7 came out which is a niche fighting game.

DBZ doesn't come out for another 5-ish months, which basically means MvC will be around for a little while so the pros can just devour that game in the meantime.

I just don't see it sticking around like it used to once February hits.

Flipgeneral3160d ago

Haha I don't know man. Do you remember the criticism levied at SFxT? Didn't stop the pros from expressing themselves

Supernintendo853162d ago

There was a time where they tried to cram as much as they could on a single cartridge or disc, not worried about you paying more later. DLC should only be designed to add on to a games already full experience, not to completed it. When your first 2 iterations of the game has the most characters I've seen in a fighting game, and then you release a game with a shotty roster, it's clear you are in it for the money, not the gamer. It's such a shame people take this model.

Radiozero3162d ago

There is not a single Marvel Character in this game that is not a movie character. This game is a slap in the face to comic fans.

The7Reaper3162d ago

I may be wrong but I don't remember Nova being in any movies.

The 10th Rider3162d ago

@LightofDarkness,

Don't think he actually makes an appearance, but I believe he was initially planned for the films and he will likely make an appearance in GOTG in future installments.

Veneno3162d ago

Isn't he mainly in the New Warriors?
