For me it's battlefield: bad company 2. The first one had such a great campaign, and the sequel seemed to forget everything about it.

My number one on the list would be Lords of Shadow 2.

My god, did I loved the first one. It had beautiful environments, solid platform gameplay and an interesting story. The only good thing the sequel shared with the first game was the epic soundtrack.

Arkham Knight ended up being my fave of the three, it in no way disappointed me, not when they finally fixed the PC version anyway.

Blaster Master 2 should be up there

Totally agree about GTA4. The story was excellent if joyless but the city setting was extremely dull to me and as someone who has always got on great with vehicle handling in GTA I hated it in 4. The story and characters were miles better than in 5 but those things are less important to me than the game world, what there is to do in it and how much fun you have doing it.

Parasite Eve: The Third Birthday is the worst sequel of all time and I wish I could wipe the memory of it from my brain.

Arkham City was more disappointing after AA than AK was from Origins and/or City. I just 100% it recently and although I enjoyed it more this play through it's still the worst Batman game. That map and the internal level design is really bad.

GTAIV shouldn't be on there. And I disagree with the car handling. It handles fine if you drive it like a car in real life. You don't just floor it everywhere you drive in real life do you? That's where I reckon people get it it wrong when driving in that game. That and too much entry speed into turns. They expect it to be arcade style handling when it's better than that.

Titanfall 2 and Dishonored 2

GTA IV hands down the biggest disappointment for me

the past years pretty much every sequel disappointed. with one or two exceptions maybe. one being xcom2 and for the other i will have to go into deep thought mode...i'm sure there is another one.

Nothing will ever be as disappointing as Mafia 3 and what makes it worse is they didn't even make a really bad game just plain boring and not in the style of Mafia games at all. Doesn't help that Hangar 13 is one of the worst studios in the industry with SJW writers and terrible designers.

i like DEAD RISING 4

Halo 5 for me. The multiplayer was great but the story was terrible and was a step-backward compared to its preccessors. Plus, they removed the local co-op feature. Other sequels I can think off that really disappounted are Akiba's Beat (though it is more of a pseudo-sequel), Star Ocean 5, Lost Song (since it is considered as a sequel to Hollow Fragment), Nightmare Ceatures 2, Crash 4, Alundra 2, Lords of Shadow 2, and Devil May Cry 2.

Fully agree with Tomb Raider Angel of darkness, that game was trash. I couldn't even finish it. Arkham Knight however is amazing for that your on crack.

I loved GTA 4 and it's world. It took me 3 years to complete the campaign because I spent most of my time just exploring and starting shit with the police. I can't say I liked it better than GTA 5 though, except that R* released single player DLC for GTA 4 which were really good.

GTAIV has plenty of replay ability, I could play that game any time, hopefully one day it comes to mobile.
Arkham City was the worst sequel, obvious cash grab for low budget WB studio to capitalize on Rocksteady's success.

Killzone Shadow Fall for me. After the classic Killzone 2 and good Killzone 3 I was bored of KZSF's story and gameplay.
Soul Calibur V is another one. Worst in the series by far for many reasons.
