Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha

They'll learn sooner or later. Blizzard realized that casual players make up the vast majority of online games like that. Once you start limiting their access to parts of the game, they get irritated and leave.
