Video games often go through many trial and errors during their developmental period.
Capcom has announced and released the original Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 on Steam.
Capcom recently released Resident Evil Requiem, and it's been so successful that it's seemingly dragging along every other Resi game with it.
That's certainly true in the UK; the latest physical retail charts have come in, and the top 10 includes five Resident Evil games across all platforms.

Actions speak louder than words. Show me a new Mega Man game that isn't a collection of games I played yesteryear. If they can churn out some kind of RE game every other year they can make a new Mega Man entry. It's not like it's known for its deep stories.
I can see DMC, but the others just weren't built for that without some major adjustments on how they're played.
If they make the right choices and right kinds of games, the Mega-Man IP could potentially be made into an animated film or streaming series like the success of Mario and Sonic. Surely that thought may have crossed their minds? Or am I being silly? I mean there is a lot more water to go under the bridge for them to even start considering that. But I used to be a big mega-man fan back in the day. I'd love to see it happen.
It’s being done on purpose just to destroy inafune . It’s some pride stuff on the inside .
Just like the guys said . I’ll believe it when I see it . Even the shareholders are asking questions regarding Megaman . I don’t want to sound ludacris but I have a strong conviction that the heads at Capcom are purposely holding the Megaman IP down because of their grudge and spite towards inafune on some deeper Japanese honour code stuff . It’s deeper than we think . You can tell something isn’t right .
Well i hope DMC is being worked on. Either a remake of 1 or 6 will do.
And bring back Megaman X. Either regular, command mission or make it a Metroidvania since silksong is so popular.
Also don't forget Conker's Bad Fur Day or Star Fox Adventures
yeah. FFXV is essentially a different game than what was originally conceived. The characters are about the same is all. I believe it was even considered to be a musical very early on but was rejected.
Don't forget Halo it was originally gonna be created as a RTS game but because of Microsoft it became a Successful FPS for the launch of the OG Xbox. Though Halo Wars was born later on it also grew and has a strong Fan base.
Personally I think Resident Evil 4 would of been better than Resident Evil 2 for this list.
