lxeasy3187d ago

Seriously I would buy them in a heartbeat!

SmielmaN3187d ago

Yesssss. Love these games. Please be multi platform though. I would love to have a amped up version for the Pro

Big_Game_Hunters3187d ago

Would love to play in on PC,
@lexHazard
2 Will never be on a non Nintendo platform unless Nintendo themselves decide so.

Would be foolish not to.

lxeasy3187d ago

Yeah I beat it on the 360 and I think it's one of Platinums best games!

Tweet him , it better be on all the consoles this time, switch Xbox, ps4

@Lexhazard79

Nintendo foot the bill for Bayonetta 2 and owns the rights to that particular game. I doubt they'd give platinum the green light for a multiplatform port.

Michiel19893186d ago

I think Bayo 2 is published by nintendo and owned by nintendo since they funded it.
Unfortunately I don't think we'll see Bayo 2 on a non nintendo console.

Smokingunz3186d ago

Nah, I wanna see it on the switch lol

Lonnie183186d ago

Yes plz be on ps4, alas wanted to play this, also a remastered set.

It's hilarious how seemingly no one in all these replies understood your sarcastic reference.

Wouldn't be surprised. Nintendo said they would want to keep consistent exclusives coming out for the Switch. Looking at 2018 there's obviously a unannounced title or two and they are going to want to continue the momentum from Mario Odyssey and Zelda and Mario Kart. And I see Metroid and Pokemon releasing in 2019.Would be another devastating blow to ps4 and would probably cement it's dominance in Japan,bayonetta 3 on the go?Crazy

Michiel19893186d ago

and which one of these would be "(another) devastating blow"?
Come on sony has it's exclusives as well,a Pokemon and mario game is not gna sink the ship for sony in japan.

wonderfulmonkeyman3187d ago

I hope so.
Nintendo needs all the big names it can get to keep their momentum going. Something other than the smattering of sports titles and years-old ports that other third parties are doing for Switch. [not that I mind some of them, eg: Skyrim, the rumored Fallout 4, etc]
After Bay 2 was captured, Nintendo would be smart to go all in for a third entry.

thatguyhayat3187d ago

Naah it would be better to go multi plat considering how much of a fan base there is on the others. Who knows how much they lost for scalebound... lol i joke

wonderfulmonkeyman3187d ago

@Frinker
See, the difference between you and me, is that I'd get it even if it only came to PS4.
I got the original back on PS3 when it first released and also got the remake for Wii U.
I follow the series, not the system.

I'm hoping for a Switch version because I loved the second one, and because Nintendo needs as many heavy hitters as they can get, while Sony's already basically guaranteed to get more hack&slashers similar to Bayonetta anyways.

Now, chump, can you say the same?
Would you follow the game, if it came to Switch, because you love the series itself, or would you steer clear of it because you hate the system it's on?
If the answer is the latter, YOU are the corporate slave. Not a Bayonetta fan.
And something tells me it's not the former.

LordJamar3187d ago

He is right you sould like a corp slave, most of the fans were not nintendo fans who cares what nintendo needs the game need to be n everything and flourish you dont own stock in nintendo stop acting like it

TheDetective3187d ago (Edited 3187d ago )

@wonderfulmonkeyman
only corporate slave I see here is you. so people asking for a game to be on everything like it originally was makes them a corporate slave ? are you retarded?

wonderfulmonkeyman3186d ago (Edited 3186d ago )

@Jamar&Detective.

Both of you must have missed the part where I said I'd get the game even if it came to the PS4 exclusively.

I don't see EITHER of you complaining about the thought of PS4 exclusivity; only when someone speaks up about it being Switch exclusive, do the two of you open your fat mouths.
The fact that you state you want it "How it originally was" despite the fact that "how it originally was" meant no version of it for Nintendo consoles, also tells me that both of you are only up in arms about it because it might come to a Nintendo system.

I'd be fine with multiplat release, but that doesn't change the fact that Nintendo needs it more than the other two at present, especially when the both of them still have games like Nier: Automata, Metal Gear: Rising, and Vanquish, amongst other great action games.
Acknowledging who needs it most doesn't make me a corporate slave; I'd even lay bets that neither of you even touched the second game because it was on the Wii U.

I follow the series and would get it even if it skipped Switch and was a multiplat anywhere else.
Hoping for it to be an exclusive to the console that most needs exclusives for its growing period doesn't change my stance on that.
You two sound like you'd only follow it if you got it on anything other than Switch.
Check yourselves before you wreck yourselves.

DarXyde3186d ago

I think it'll be exclusive. The fact that they bundled the first game with the second shows they want to keep people on the same page and since Nintendo owns Bayonetta 2, that would be extremely hard to do on multiple platforms. I think the best case to expect for a multiplatform release is Switch and PS4. They are not going to leave Nintendo out of the loop for the sake of continuity. And since Bayonetta has good sales on PS3, I wouldn't be surprised to see them release it for the two platforms with a greater worldwide presence (not to throw shade at Xbox--it just has the worst sales for Platinum games). Makes it easier to cater to the Japanese audience with those two platforms too (think Dragon Quest and Disgaea).

Either way, I'm equipped to play Bayonetta 3.

PhoenixUp3187d ago

I hope Sega funds their own IP's sequel this time so it can be multiplatform

deafdani3187d ago

As long as the third entry also comes to Switch, I'm fine.

I also own a PS4, but I would rather have my games on my Switch whenever possible. For my particular lifestyle, that portability factor is a big bonus for me.

Erik73573186d ago

I think its safe to say it'll be on switch at the very least. I would also enjoy it more on the Switch

Imalwaysright3187d ago (Edited 3187d ago )

I think that is a very real possibility given their commitment to offering quality and Bayonetta games are top notch quality games.

wonderfulmonkeyman3186d ago

As long as multiplatform means all platforms instead of skipping some, like the original did, I'd be fine with that.
Though at the moment, all the other platforms have great stuff like Nier: Automata to play while Switch is lacking a bit in action games, so if it has to be exclusive to anything, Switch, being in its growth and rising popularity period, would benefit most from having a high profile action game like Bayonetta 3.

Erik73573186d ago

Im also calling it and im 99% its going to be exclusive

AizenSosuke3187d ago

Please Bayonetta 3 I'm ready(Spongebob meme)

Blu3_Berry3187d ago

I really hope this will be Multiplatform. If it's Switch exclusive, I don't mind as long as it appears on PC since the first one was released earlier this year.

steveo1234563186d ago

And what a game on pc!! 4k 60fps beautiful! I reckon it if they do make a third it will definitely come to PC

Now about Vanquish 2....

My issue with the games is that because each one is a different Universe you feel like you don't have a good development arc for the characters as each game is a reset. It felt like a cheap way to start a new game without writing around what you wrote or how you ended things in the last game.

It's a concept that's made the games overall story more confusing then it should be.

shinXseijuro33d ago (Edited 33d ago )

You have to be fair with them , knowing that the first game was multiplatform under platinum and sega . second& third are both exclusive Nintendo games . I’m guessing some kind of trade off had to be done for the exclusivity deal with one of the demands being to create a new storyline for the Nintendo games . That came with new lore , new characters and new stakes . As of recently it is said that platinum games re-acquired the rights to bayonetta from sega/Nintendo . I can expect the next game to be more akin to the original game and follow that storyline .

Neonridr33d ago

that report is a rumour completely. As of now Bayonetta is still owned by Sega with Nintendo's involvement for future entries.

shinXseijuro32d ago

@neon

Oh really ? Welp that’s a bummer .
