Capcom announced today that Resident Evil 7 will be getting a Gold Edition for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
A new comparison shows Resident Evil 7 on Switch 2 runs at 60fps with visuals close to PS5, outperforming the PS4 version.
Game came out in 2017 . I expect the newer console to at least match or be better than the older ones .
PS4 PSU = 250 watts (base model)
PS5 PSU = 220 watts
Switch 2 = 22 watts (docked)
Crazy efficiency from Switch 2.
I don’t know who keeps posting this guy. The switch does NOT match the PS5 performance. Please put digital foundry vids instead. It beats series S visually. The beginning of the video shows the car hood example. The upscaler is pixelated as hell on switch but smooth, but less detailed on PS4 and not even on PS5s league. That’s the upscaler trying to make 540p look higher res. I really don’t understand the reasoning for the gas lighting.

Resident Evil 7 has massively flopped by making fewer than 2000 purchases on iOS, with other console mobile ports also performing poorly.
Well at least there are games like angry birds or clash of clans for mobile gamers :-)
Apple users ain't gamers. I don't know whether this push with "metal" was just to say they did it and it's possible to run modern games, or if Capcom just said hey more units is better, but either way this shouldn't be all that surprising.
Mobile gamers only want simple games and gachas. Nobody wants to pay up front for a mobile game, you have to hide it behind micro transactions lol.

Fan favorite Resident Evil 7 is coming to mobile, but once again, Capcom is only releasing the game on Apple’s latest phones and tablets.
Gold Edition... who cares? This key focus here is the Zoe and Chris DLC are finally coming!!!
Damn that was quick. RE5 didn't even get a Gold Edition until a full year after its initial release.
Can we please just get some info on the RE2 Remake so I can finally enjoy RE the way it's supposed to be...only so many times I can play RE0 and the RE Remake.
Nice, haven't bought the game yet. Let's hope this comes to the west as well, but I couldn't see why not.
geez, really? Game is 9 months old and we get a GOTY version. Meanwhile there is still RE2, 3 and Code Veronica that could be "remastered" instead. :P
