Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "Kid Icarus occupies an odd spot in Nintendo’s roster of franchises. The series has been around since the lat 80’s and has gone through spurts of being either a semi-regular sight in the company’s cadre or completely forgotten and ignored. This inconsistent exposure got me thinking – how come Kid Icarus never caught on? On the surface the series has everything you would want from a classic ‘Nintendo’ game and for all intents and purposes it had the same genesis as series’ like Metroid (more on that later) and potential that could rival the big N’s biggest names like Zelda and Mario. So what went wrong? Why hasn’t Kid Icarus become a big series?"

A new Animal Crossing or a Kid Icarus: Uprising remaster would be perfect on the Switch 2.

BLG writes: "While it didn’t sell as well as the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo 3DS was nonetheless a wonderful system. And, while this may be a hot take, it’s easily my favorite handheld. Even more than a decade removed from launch, the system’s library has so many titles that feel as fresh today as they did back at release. While it was hard to narrow down, these 30 Nintendo 3DS games are emblematic of the system’s success."

Because not every franchise will catch on
I loved the original kid Icarus on my NES. I've still got it
Speak of the devil, just played it last night on my emulator. 'twas the quintessential Nintendo game.
They should definitely consider going Greek again. So much they could do with the characters, setting and gameplay (and look good doing it).
having "kid" in the title was not the smartest move
Because he's too cool and sometimes that means it just flies over people's heads...
