We’ve played Monster Hunter: World, and it rules - Polygon

Polygon: "We were excited when Monster Hunter: World got announced during Sony’s press conference at E3 2017. After all, this is the first proper Monster Hunter for consoles since 2013’s Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and that was an upgrade to a non-HD game."

I hope this sells really well so capcom will see just how much money they missed out on signing those exclusivity deals on the game for the past decade with nintendo. Sorry nintendo!

Yes!!! I agree this was one game that shouldve been multiplat a long time ago. Or how atlus does their shin megami tensei games, each console have their own form of exclusive monster hunter, but man this will do definitely, i embrace it with open arms

No need to apologize. It's not like Monster Hunter can't exist in console and handheld form. I guarantee we will see another MH game release for either 3DS or Switch.

Well you must consider financially they did not have much of a choice.

Now they seem to be doing a little better. I'm hoping that an install base can get captured but I believe the PC PlayStation and Xbox install base is the most open in healthy install base in gaming right now.

They'll be fine

I've never played this franchise, though I am familiar with it, and I'm definitely buying this game. I've always been interested in it.

Monster Hunter being with Nintendo seriously halted any significant changes the series would have got moving forward on ANY OTHER CONSOLE. Pretty much played the same game for almost a damn decade!
I welcome Monster Hunter World with open arms.

Can't wait for this, not sure whether to go gunlance or switch axe or dual blades

I always use the Long Sword (Katana)

Divine Slasher was my favorite on PS2.

He's been in most, if not all the games and is iconic to the series. I guess he can be considered the unofficial mascot but every game has its own unique monster as the poster boy.

Because you had fun. I started Monster Hunter with my son on PSP 17 years ago. We put a ton of hours into the games since then. Never did I look back at any game I’ve sunk a lot of hours into and think, I might regret having all that fun.

Because it's the best coop experience that you can have.
