It had potential, but was lazily implemented. The disc golf game, for instance, had me dreaming of finally having a full VR sequel to sports champions disc golf on PS3... the most accurate disc golf sim ever made. This version, however, flat out sucked. The physics were all wrong, the controls sucked... it was a huge disappointment. After trying that, I never looked back.

I mean there were so many different games available over the years. Sure, it wasn't anywhere close to the most realistic games out there, but they were good fun.

It could be free and it wouldn't matter at this point. There isn't really a PCVR Market and I say that as a PCVR user. It is modders and enthusiasts with a few retail products on Steam.
