Joshua Morris, GIZORAMA - "The God game genre has been explored time and time again. From the Black and White series to Peter Molynuex’s ill received follow up, Godus, the God simulator has taken many forms. The Sims is probably the most popular god game out there, giving you complete control over the lives of your little people. Keep their needs fulfilled and their floating plumbobs green. Or stick them in the swimming pool and remove the ladder. It’s your choice. You’re a god, who’s going to question you?"

Crest is a god-sim where your word is gospel. Indirectly control your followers through your commands and see if they are interpreted correctly.

This is a Review wrttien by Thomas Lashbrook.
In the beginning, there was the word.
Language is an important thing as words change over time. Their meanings move, ebb and flow with modernity. What something meant at the level of words and deeper thousands of years ago may not mean the same thing as now. We see constantly that differences between interpretations of the same thing can lead to disputes on a number of scales.

Carl: One question that some people might have asked themselves, which includes me, is “What does it feel like to be a god?”. Crest is a god-game, survival, strategy pc game developed by Eat Create Sleep. In this game, you will become an indirect god, which means that you will not directly tell the people what to do or appear in front of them but rather manifest your commandments only through signs. The set-up is more of a stone-age era where people are hunting for food to survive and creating a community from scratch. Your commandment would be a huge factor as to how your followers live their lives.
