This had some super trippy scenes.

Yep, from what I've seen so far this game is not for me. Just seems a bit too "crazy" for my taste.

Goldby3190d ago

I had a friend who thought the same thing, was very nervous goin into it because of the voices. He still has his reservations but because I'm game sharing with him he Ian taking his time with it and is enjoying it in small doses.

It's accurate, it's unnerving at times but that is what makes it soo special.

And it's 30 bucks. We all have spent more on games that are much worse than this one.

Highly suggest you pick it up or game share it with someone.

SaveFerris3192d ago

Interesting. I'm still to decide if I pick up the game or not.

V0MIT_M0NSTER3191d ago

Yeah, it looks interesting but still not sure if it's one I need to play.

Orejillz3191d ago

If you're interested in Senua and the story I'd pick it up. Gameplay isn't the best thing ever though.

badz1493190d ago

why is a spoiler article allowed so early here on N4G. it hasn't been a week since the game is out for heaven sake!

Eiyuuou3190d ago

You're acting as if you got spoiled. Articles with titles like this are perfectly acceptable.

Goldby3190d ago

@badz

It's also a 6 hour game. I know some people who beat it the first day it was released.

Simple option don't read the article. And experience it first

I don’t think the HB1 upgrade drops until HB2 drops.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice Review | What's It Like In 2024?

Admittedly, Hellblade: Senua's Saga is far from perfect and won't be a game for everyone, but now with a multitude of accessibility options it has made itself much more palatable for a wider audience, and with constant sale prices between $2-$4, Hellblade: Senua's Saga is too good to pass up for a unique experience that has stood the test of time and will do so once more with its even more robust and epic sequel.

The only thing epic about this “game” is how longnit took to make.

The Hellblade games looked nice but they were essentially walking simulators with a minimal amount of combat tracked on.

willykyu269d ago

At long last, it’s about time they upgraded it !
I didn’t like hellblade 2 at all, which lost all its mystery and originality in this graphically superb but extremely boring sequel. But I loved the first one. And I was pretty annoyed it was stuck on ps4 version on ps5. Bugs and didn’t run that well.
Now I’m going to play it all over again !!! In its nicest version on PlayStation.
