Dan writes for Commonsense Gamer: "Even though competitive gaming is becoming more and more of a thing nowadays and most computer and video games challenge you to complete quests, destroy stuff or achieve something, gaming can and should also be considered a medium for relaxation."

"Today we are happy to announce that ConcernedApe has made a very generous initial donation of $125,000 and an ongoing monthly commitment to the project," MonoGame says in a statement on Twitter. Stardew Valley is now available on Switch 2 as a free upgrade for existing Switch owners, with a standalone price of 14.99 dollars at launch.
Still doesn’t appear to exist at all on the UK store even when accessing directly from Switch 2.
Just bought it, in order to see whether you can upgrade in-game but nothing at all.

PlayStation Store has removed cross-buy ownership for the PS Plus Essential version of farm life sim Stardew Valley.
"However, Sony now seems to be revoking that digital ownership and reclassifying the game as subscription-only access. In other words, the license is now tied strictly to an active PS Plus membership rather than being treated as a permanent digital purchase."

I've not been able to download it on my vita for over a year now, perfectly fine on my PS4 and PS5
The Sims games, they are very relaxing games......addictive too.
Zelda BotW
Slime Rancher is pretty good if you haven't played it. That's also pretty relaxing. Well unless you get tarr loose on your ranch.
I would like to see more relaxing games too. I enjoyed Stardew Valley, I also liked the old Sim City games for the same reason. It's nice to just sit back and idle away a few hours without having to struggle in a raid or take down that huge boss.
One thing I don't like is when you have a day/night cycle it's like you have a time limit. I understand they want events to happen on certain days but it would be nice if the day didn't end until your character went to bed.
