This game has drifted off so many people's radar that it's in an even more obscure position than The Last Guardian was a few years ago

freshslicepizza3200d ago

I'd hate to see this turn into what evolved with The Tomorrow Children.

yeahokwhatever3199d ago

The Tomorrow Children is my biggest disappointment this generation.

ocelot073199d ago (Edited 3199d ago )

Agreed same as Project Spark. That was something knew and different but was a disappointment and now it's dead with the tomorrow children soon to be in the grave next to it.

However, I do have some hope for this game. I hope to here more of this at Gamescom or TGS or PSX.

SpaceRanger3199d ago

Or even worse...project spark.

andrewsquall3199d ago

Or much worse, Project Spark, the "revival" of Conker at E3 2014 lol.

Dreams is something so original that it will jump right back on people's radar in a heartbeat.
You really can't compare it to traditional titles though.

Z5013199d ago

Still on my radar. This and Wild.

iceman063198d ago

Nah, it's a Media Molecule game. They have a pretty built up cache with their audience. It was ALWAYS gonna be a niche title with the chance to penetrate into the mainstream, like LBP. So, those that were checking for it to begin with will still be excited by any further news. Thise that weren't have the chance to be reminded and possibly surprised and tempted to buy it.

I'm really hoping for more news soon. This looked like something unique.

MrSec843199d ago

Maybe they'll update us with info on the campaign at the next big Sony show.
They've probably been busy putting their tools to work on the single player, offline features of the game.

bluefox7553199d ago

They regularly mention it on Twitter, so I'm guessing it's coming along just fine.

LiViNgLeGaCY3199d ago

Oh dang, really? When was the last time they talked about it? Legitimate question, as I don't follow them on Twitter.

JackTheLiz3199d ago

The developers have been putting out updates and videos every so often.

showtimefolks3199d ago

it's still on tack anbd developers have been active on social media. They have a excellent track record so i won't doubt them unless they prove otherwise

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio8d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing8d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster928d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit8d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing8d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster928d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
