Better question would be why can't Sega just release another Genesis collection on modern consoles?
I really enjoyed Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on PS3. It'd be great to have another compilation on PS4, especially since it would continue the tradition that started on PS2 & PSP.
Why we can't see a major difference in graphics like ps2>ps3>ps4 jumps that really impressed, Sega should come back strong with new Console and new tech inside, not old AMD.
Maybe if Sega tested the waters with another handheld mobile console?! Nintendo seems to be doing strong with their consoles which are mobile...
