Now, those of you who have read the pieces I've scribbled about Destiny will know that I am partial to a bit of Bungie's masterpiece. The word "fanboy" has been tossed about, and in all fairness I can't argue with that epithet. However, as I touched on with my opinion piece about the beta, it wasn't a clean sweep or a slam dunk for Bungie this time around.
So what I'm going to do is list the things that I feel need to be tweaked before the full game comes out."

PlayStation has scaled back expectations for Bungie after reassessing Destiny 2 development costs, highlighting the risks tied to live-service games.
Honestly Thank Goodness!! Yet another good sign of a possibility of returning to what made them great and undoing Jim Tyans trend chasing love service gamble. Still gotta wait and see just what direction they're going but this is a good sign in my book that they're not betting it all on live service anymore
It may take a while but maybe they are finally learning. Good! Now stop with the live service crap.
They say this and then immediately release news of the Horizons co-op game that will definitely be a Live Service game.

Patch notes for Update 9.5.0.5, the one about Equilibrium fixes and more, are now available.

A new survey shows Destiny 2 is considering adding Sparrow Racing League, unvaulted campaigns, NPC sidekicks, new PvP and Gambit modes, and much more.
Let's wait for the full game to arrive before people scream for changes. We don't now if there will be gear that will help reduce your grenade and super recharges. The first game had them, so no reason to think that D2 won't either.
When your talking about the weapons being nerfed that's why they switched to static rolls for guns. It's much easier to balance one particular weapon instead of crucifying a whole gun line.
As for story content, I'm pretty confident they are going to knock it out of the park this time around. They've confirmed over 50 cut scenes, which is more than all of D1 with its expansions. Main campaign on top of numerous story based side quests and world quests, which unlock after main campaign, will have the PvE crowd staying busy for some time.
The new PvP format is not bad, I was really skeptical of the change, but after playing the beta it was still fun. Plus we're getting 10 pvp maps right out of the gate, and Bungie has said only the Iron Temple reskin will be a familiar setting, the rest are brand new maps.
