Sony has officially lowered the price of two of its most popular Blu-ray players, along with adding BD-Live capabilities to one.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
Funny thing is they'll drop price on everything but the thing that needs it most. The PS3. Good going, Sony!
The funny thing is, this year the blu-ray player isn't a selling point anymore cause I can walk into a number of places and get a stand alone player now for 200 bucks. < Not that I need one, I already have one, but still. The common customer isn't going to say
"Hey, Iron Man and Batman are both out on blu-ray this holiday season; think I'll pick me up a Ps3 to watch them"
Sony needs a refresher course on how the world works. What kills me is Sony keeps tossing out all these big games and yet nobody is buying the system still.
GTA4
MGS4
Warhawk
Uncharted
Resistance
R&C
Hhheavenly Sword
Motorstorm
COD4
Oblivion
Folklore
Burnout
Madden
NBa live
Fight night 3
Ninja Gaiden
Rockband
Those are just some of what's already out. The system has games, man. Good ones too. Then, couple those with these coming out this month and next.
Silent Hill 5
Motorstorm 2
Resistance 2
Lllittle big planet
Bio Shock
Fallout 3
Rockband 2
Spiderman < whatever it's called
Alone in the dark 5
Resistance 2
Farcry 2
I mean, c'mon guys. What is wrong here? This doesn't begin to cover all the kick ass PSN games out and on the way, either. It's not the games. It's the price of the syste. People want it, they can't afford it and the worst part, sony is hurting sales of the above games by not dropping price now.
People who finally do adopt PS3's won't go back and play even half these great games. They'll be forward thinking. Trust me.
On november 4. comes a new release of star wars but no blu-ray support. Why? I guess Lucas doesn't think blu-ray would sell enough copys. Same with Indiana Jones just Indy4 blu-ray not indy1-3. And where is Lord of the Rings on blu-ray. All this are movies what blu-ray needs and sales of players would go up.
