He looks the part but I don't think he could be the cold chiseled or gruff that Snake comes off as. He's too much of a goodie two shoes and he does try to play a jerk it comes off really bad. I like the guy but he isn't Snake. I could see him as a early Kaz before he goes a bit mental in TPP
