A port of RBI Baseball is coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop and at retail this September.

It was a great idea on paper. So why did R.B.I. Baseball's revival end up hitting a brick wall?
It was getting better with each iteration, at least for its mobile versions. I was playing since RBI 2014.

The R.B.I. Baseball series returns yet again with R.B.I. Baseball 21, but does it improve on an otherwise lacking series thus far?
I guess someone buying these games seeing as they keep churning them out but I hardly ever hear good things about them. Lol

Major League Baseball Advanced Media surprised us all when it announced in mid-January that it would be reviving the R.B.I. Baseball franchise — a series whose most recent entry was released in 1995 — with R.B.I. Baseball 14 on old consoles, new consoles and mobile devices this spring. After speaking with the game's production team, it's clear that MLB Advanced Media's new game is doing just that: bringing back a long-dormant franchise the way you remember it, for the most part.
Looks great! It'll be nice to have both a simulator and an arcade baseball game this year.
when we lived at SUNY Albany in college, We had every system you could imagine in 2002 but the one we played the most...NINTENDO AND RBI BASEBALL!!! I just pre ordered THE SHOW...might have to grab this to hold me over till May 31
Thank God finally a baseball game that doesn't have a hundred menus. I would like online play but I hate Sport sims. I miss loading a game and playing a season. I wish we could have a football "American" game that is like this. Just have a exhibition season and playoff then add online.
I'm glad because I want sports titles on the Switch, though I played R.B.I baseball and didn't enjoy my experience with its archaic gameplay.
