It made you appreciate more the other games. Even the not so good ones. I guess that's something good, in it's own way :D

Really, the most boring game i've ever played. And i defended it so much when it came out :( But not all is lost, let's see what happens in 2 days with the news about it.

Ambition isn't tangible... and in this case it was ambition that bit them in the ass, so how you make that the first point of "getting it right" is beyond me. Not to mention what they offered on release was very possible and not really ambitious what they wanted out of the game and didn't deliver was the ambitious part.

Support after launch, you cant in the same breathe say they went silent for TWO MONTHS from releasing a game that let a lot of people down and then say but hey they are making new stuff so they are doing well. No they botched, then got back on the horse and released some content most people didnt want. They should have implemented the systems in the game they said they would have, or at least admitted that the things they said they could do they cant.

Seriously, this author is only lying to themselves. The game released is a joke, and unfortunately should be used as an example of what happens when you talk about your dream game and then realize you didnt have the talent to make it happen.

they went quite because they were working on the update. its not that difficult to understand

Thousands of people outcry because the game is not what they expected and you are saying they were "too busy" working on an update to make one comment addressing any of the concerns that paying consumers brought up.

They had no problem talking right at launch, it wasn't until people started to realize they felt mislead that all the sudden radio silence from Hello Games.

@Ghost.

Just like Lays potato chips.

it's never just one comment. with the outcry they would have had to either hire someone to do damage control on the PR side or take someone away from the update to deal with the outcry.

Like the amount of hate this game still is getting is nothing compared to when the game came out. had they started talking and trying desperately to answer/respond to the comments via twitter and other social media outlets, the internet would have broken (obviously not but for the sake of argument)

The art style is cool and the music is excellent. The first time I saw it ages ago I got a powerful feeling of nostalgia for retro sci-fi and it delivered on that. Yes I know there were some things that didn't get delivered on before anyone gets excited.

I enjoyed exploring the planets (especially after the update) and constructing my bases. The space combat was very basic and didn't really draw me in for extended periods. But I was intrigued to see the mystery and lore unfold.

No Man’s Sky: Assemble Your Creatures for Battle in the Xeno Arena with the Newest Free Update

Sean writes: "Last month’s Remnant update caused much hilarity as you tooled with your newfangled gravity guns and customisable exocraft, transporting precarious industrial cargo across uneven terrain in a classic risk vs. reward fight. Our latest update is a whole different beast."
